Your material-package estimate and total construction budget answer different questions. Review them together without treating one as the other. Current quotes for your actual plan and location are more useful than a generic square-foot price.

Review the material list, drawing scope, approved options, exclusions, delivery arrangements, and order terms before authorizing the package. Ask about anything that is unclear, including whether a feature seen in a photograph is included.

Technical changes may affect the design, engineering, manufacturing, and order. Work through the agreed change process rather than assuming a site modification can be made without review.

Prepare for on-time material-package delivery

Big Twig coordinates your material-package delivery with you and your builder and delivers on schedule. Confirm the agreed date, route, truck access, unloading arrangements, equipment, and storage beforehand.

Your builder coordinates foundation readiness, assembly crews, weather protection, inspections, and the construction sequence. The package delivery commitment does not establish the date the finished home will be ready for occupancy.

Define the finish work with your builder

Kitchens, fireplaces, lighting, stairs, trim, and mechanical systems shape the finished experience. Review their specifications and installation with the appropriate professionals. A coordinated building envelope, ventilation design, and correctly sized equipment support comfort; performance depends on the actual assembly and use.
