The Hybrid Package is a customizable combination of log or timber elements where they matter most — great rooms, porches, entry features, or accent walls — with stick-framed constructionfor the remainder of the home. This approach gives you the architectural character you love with the flexibility, easier mechanical runs, insulation flexibility, and simplified finishing of conventional stick framing.
Moosehead's hybrid is not a SIP + log shell system. Instead, it uses authentic cedar log/timber elements for the features you see and feel (great rooms, porches, entryways, accent walls) paired with stick-framed walls for the rest of the home — a style familiar to subcontractors, permitting boards, and home inspectors.
