”Linda and I were fortunate to have our vacation house built recently. We were fortunate to find Aaron Dunn (Big Twig Homes) as the primary contractor to coordinate the construction. Having actually built our own house in our hometown of Hope Valley, RI we were quite aware of the detail required in the construction of a good home. Knowing it would be difficult to manage the construction from RI as well as the fact that the new construction would be a log home we would seek the help and knowledge of Aaron. This decision would become the backbone of the successful construction of our home. Not only was the construction timely but the contractors selected were of the highest quality. We could sight many examples one that stands out is the interior finishing work. All of the finish work performed by the carpenters in the interior of the house was nothing less than cabinetmakers quality. All of the joints and fits on the interior walls with no exaggeration were precision fits showing the attention to detail and high standard that they invested into their entire project. ”Our project was the construction of a log home - our "dream retirement" home. Big Twig served as the general contractor and did an excellent job in all aspects of the construction. The project, from lot clearing to occupancy, took just 8 months, which was more than 30 days ahead of the estimated schedule.
